Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu threatened BJP workers with dire consequences after his convoy was blocked by angry protesters.

Kakinada: Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has been caught on camera threatening BJP workers. The former NDA ally also dragged in PM Narendra Modi's name and claimed that he had been unfair to the state.
Naidu gave this statement after his convoy was blocked by BJP workers over the comments he had made on PM Modi. Speaking to media, Naidu said, "Why are the BJP leaders supporting Modi. He has cheated the state. Modi has been unfair to Andhra Pradesh. If you try to mess with me, you will be finished. The public will not leave you if you go out and say his name. Be careful," Naidu said.
The CM was going to attend various programs in Kakinada yesterday when his convoy was blocked by the BJP workers.
Meanwhile, the cops arrested BJP District President A Malakondaiah after the incident.
Naidu, who was once an NDA ally, has been very critical of PM Modi and the BJP. He had also accused the PM of betraying the people of Andhra Pradesh by not granting special status.
Earlier on Tuesday, Naidu claimed that he bowed down to satisfy the ego of Prime Minister Modi for getting things done for his state, yet the central government did not cooperate with his government in the last four years, reported news agency ANI.
Speaking at a public meeting recently, Naidu had said that 2019 is a battle between him and PM Modi and urged the people of the state to boycott the Prime Minister’s visit on January 6. As per the media inputs, the PM has now postponed his visit to the end of the month.
